is there a CFA report for public to look at like few years ago? https://sfoece.org/2017/02/07/san-francisco-comprehensive-fiscal-analysis/
Denise Corvino (she/ella)
31:10
No. This time around we are thinking differently about how we get our funding out to programs--particularly since we have the additional funds from Baby Prop C. The CFA was not geared toward parity with SFUSD. We are moving toward a multi-pronged system, rather than just rates.

Are the staff positions for teacher, lead teacher, assistant, etc. defined by the FCC licensee or DEC?
Denise Corvino (she/ella)
33:21
DEC
Oscar Tang
33:47
has OECE/DEC heard any concerns that providers are concerned about center luring their FCC staff to leave to join the center?
Denise Corvino (she/ella)
36:15
That certainly has been a concern for years--we have heard from some FCC that are worried about that. We've also had discussions with FCCA about promoting FCC, educating families about the benefits of FCC, and making sure FCC are providing high quality early care and education so that it is understood to be as viable an option for families. We hope that with additional funding, FCC will be able to recruit great staff as part of their business/ ECE planning.

is this form for Early Educator Salary Support Grant not care 3.0?Staff Wage and Education Form https://sfoece.org/wp-content/uploads/Staff-Education-Wage-Form_FINAL.xlsx
Denise Corvino (she/ella)
37:59
There are two different methods of delivery--the grant (Early Ed Salary Support) and stipends (CARES 3.0).
Oscar Tang
41:51
if FCC has staff, FCC doesn't have to apply for Early Educator Salary Support Grant to help making sure the staff being paid $28 an hour?
Patricia Sullivan
42:03
Should large FCCs list licensed capacity at 12 or 14 with the two part time school aged spaces which may not be filled year round?
Graham Dobson
44:33
Oscar - no - FCCs will not be applying for grants this round. There are CARES 3.0 stipend amounts that FCC educators will be eligible for. $28 is a goal that not all FCC staff will achieve this first round.
Oscar Tang
48:31
if FCC doesn't have staff, FCC doesn't have to apply for Early Educator Salary Support Grant to help making sure the themselves being paid $28 an hour?
Vinson Chen
50:25
so for fccs the only change is cares 2.0 to cares 3.0? the other funding does not require a separate application?
Denise Corvino (she/ella)
51:13
There is the application to record your tier, and then in October there will be a CARES 3.0 application.
Oscar Tang
51:28
